ServiceNOW London release

Welcome to London! The new ServiceNow software release called “London” is now available, offering new capabilities specifically created and developed to deliver powerful intelligence across the enterprise.

There are new exiting capabilities throughout the Now Platform TH- ®, zooming in on the SAMPro module for Software Asset Management “London” brings:

  • License Change Projections:

When an IT change is proposed, consideration of risk and hardware costs are important, but software license costs are often overlooked due to complexity of determining the impact. This feature will automatically calculate the impact of software license costs for certain types of changes, natively within the change management process.

  • Citrix Publisher Pack:

Manage the Citrix software licensing for the users/devices accessing the Citrix environment. In addition, gain visibility to licensing for the non Citrix software applications running in a Citrix virtual desktop infrastructure. This publisher pack helps discover and reconcile use cases for compliance and cost optimisation.

  • Adobe Cloud License Management:

Software publishers are increasingly moving their solutions to the cloud. Adobe subscription management gives software managers the ability to manage their Creative Cloud, Document Cloud, and Management Cloud subscriptions - all from a single pane of glass so that they can control subscription spend and optimise costs.

  • Software Lifecycle Dates:

As part of the Content Library, Software Lifecycle content such as General Availability and End of Life dates will be provided. This enables identification of risk for software installed throughout an environment as well as helps Technology Portfolio Management (ITBM) to perform app rationalisation.
